Gourmet 

Introduction 

The Gourmet subclass for the Chef class introduces a sophisticated and nurturing approach to combat, transforming culinary expertise into potent healing and support abilities. These chefs use their refined skills to create exquisite meals that restore health, protect allies, and even call upon divine intervention.


Hearty Meal

When you take this subclass at 3rd level, your cooking becomes much more refined allowing you to manipulate your Deep Fry feature. You can only choose one per Turn.

Live Music: Reduce 1 dice, change the damage type of your Deep Fry to Thunder Damage.

Table Service: Reduce 2 die, an ally within 10ft of you can move up to 10ft without taking an opportunity attack.

Say When: Reduce 3 dice, target an ally being grappled or restrained by the target and allow them to make an Athletics or Acrobatics check to escape.

Bottle Service: Reduce 4 dice, target must make a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned until the end of your next Turn.

Chefs Special: Reduce 5 dice, target a different creature within 10ft and cause them to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 5d4 fire damage.

Check Please: Reduce 6 dice, if the target is dropped to 0 hit points or killed, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Deep Fry damage for 1 hour.

Savor the Flavor

At 6th level, you can create a number of delicacies equal to your Intelligence modifier over a Short Rest. Each of these are the size of your hand and last until you finish a Long Rest. A creature can use a Bonus Action to eat one of these foods and regain hit points equal to a roll of your Deep Fry dice. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Exquisite Feast

When you reach 10th level, you can prepare an Exquisite Feast over the course of 1 hour, which can be consumed over 10 minutes. Up to ten creatures can partake in the feast. Each creature regains hit points equal to 2d10 + your chef level and is cured of all diseases and poisons. Additionally, they gain advantage on Wisdom saving throws and Constitution saving throws for the next 24 hours. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Divine Cuisine

Starting at 14th level, your cooking has grown to the heights of the gods. You can spend 1 hour creating a meal suitable for a deity. Make a Cooks Utensils (intelligence) check and then roll a d100. If the d100 roll is equal to or below your check, a avatar, proxy or deity of your choice comes to join you for the meal. DM's choice if its an avatar, proxy or the deity that answers the call. While there, you can ask them one question, though they don't have to answer honestly, but may depending on how good the roll difference is between the d100 roll and the check. Otherwise they can grant you a favor of casting a Cleric spell of 7th level or below before departing. Once successful, you cannot use this feature for the next 6 days. If you fail this check, you gain a stacking +5 for your next attempt for each time without success. This resets when you succeed.
